In some cases, the popular products get out of stock frequently and inventory update process takes time. If the product is out of stock and the users visit the page, then, it will be disappointing for the users as they will not be able to purchase the products. This will also hamper the user experience. To avoid such circumstances and improve the user experience, the store admin can use the Back in Stock Module. The Back in Stock module adds a notification block on the product pages that are out of stock, so that, customers can subscribe for the notification by just entering their email IDs. As soon as the product inventory for the out of stock product is updated, the customer will receive an email notification. This module is available for the Prestashop version 1.5.x.x - 1.7.x.x.
