Kelvin Koh
Hi, I'm currently using Matrice Theme with PS v 1.3.6 and it's working great. I'm very excited about the improved features in PS v 1.4 and like to migrate to the newest version.Does anybody know whether Matrice theme is compatible with v1.4? I like some advises or input before I go ahead with the migration.ThanksKelvin
jhnstcks
No v1.3 themes will not be compatible with v1.4 as it now uses a different smarty version and the css files are totally different. Some 1.3 themes will work on 1.4 but not very well, and you wont be able to use any of the new features, opc, guest checkout and the new CCC caching. Kelvin Koh
jhnstcks,Thank you very much for your advise. I want to utilise the new features very much. I'm considering to migrate my products and contents & work on the SEO while waiting for new themes for 1.4.Actually working on launching my site soon using 1.3.6, but I do not want the hassle of doing double job later when migrating to 1.4.
