Troy
There is a paid module by shokinro. You can look it up here : http://www.prestashop.com/forums/viewthread/77195/job_offers_and_paid_services/module__prestashop_paypal_express_checkout_module_no_ssl_no_tedious_customer_registration_get_to_paypal_in_a_few_clicks
shokinro
Thanks Troy for referring my module.Yes, if you use my module, you can disable customer registration. Make very small change to hide registration screen and uninstall some account related modules like "My account block" module. It is very easy to do. I have just finished one website for my customer for the same requirement. The site is schedule to be launched in middle of Feb.If you have any further questions, please feel free to ask. CMFAclothing
Looks like that one can only be used by customers with a paypal account is there anything that lets the customer use paypal without having a payal account?
shokinro
Yes, customer can pay by major credit cards or debit card via Paypal even customer does not have Paypal account. And customer is not required to register at Paypal either. Just like general credit card payment.By using Express Checkout, you will be able to reduce customer dropout rate because of unexpected errors during normal check out process. Agile Paypal there are many more features, for example, by using Paypal micro payment, use can save Paypal transactions.
CMFAclothing
"If you have a PayPal account, you can use Express Checkout and go directly to PayPal and complete your order. Please select the country where your Paypal Account is registered and click the Continue button below."is there anyway to change what that says if i buy this add on? Cause when i read it i got the impression you needed a paypal account to use the express checkout and im sure some customers would also think that

Actually the text message has been changed to as following in the new version of my module. This one is much better.---------------------------------------------------------------------------* No customer registration is required, finish you order fast and quick.* Pay by Master, Visa, American Express, Debit card at Paypal without registration.* By choosing Express Checkout, you agree that we ship your order to the address you input at Paypal. Please select you location and carrier and click Continue to proceed.
