Damien Metzger
Hi,70k is huge, so I think it may be slow but usable. And it must be interesting to see it.That's how I do it for the statistics: everytime I put my hands on a bigger shop I benchmark the SQL queries and optimize them if needed. As for the bulk import, you can try the CSV import tool.http://www.prestashop.com/wiki/Importing_Product_Data/

Hank
I was using ZenCart and when I tested out PrestaShop I loved all the built in features, layout and how easy it was to figure out. The only issue is uploading products, from CSV is possible but will not allow large files. Don't know the limit the only one that was successful was my test file with 5-10 products. I have nearly 100K products to upload, I tried splitting my files to 10-15k products which ended up to be 5-6mb is size. I am now working with everything running off my laptop including all images are local, to avoid the internet failure probability and I have not been able to upload even 1 of these files. I also tried removing all but the thumbnail images from my store configuration. Upload has been running for nearly 24hours and only 9k products uploaded yet. I have been at this for over a week to setup the test. All this is doing is ruining my opinion of PrestaShop. The upload is a major issue and if it is not resolved they will loose ground with large shops, once there is a solution to uploading large amount of data they will gain a lot of ground. I am starting to look for a better solution now, if anyone finds a solution to the upload I would appreciate the heads up.
