gsp
Hi all, I"m trying to install PrestaShop for the first time. Using cPanel, my host company uses an Apps Installer called Softaculous. Within Softaculous, I can install PrestaShop (among several other eCommerce platforms). When I choose to install version 1.6.1.20, via cPanel/Softaculous, it installs without error. When I install version 1.7.4.2. via cPanel/Softaculous (using all the same installation variables other than selecting the newer 1.7.4.2. version) I get this error: Required PHP extension not found : fileinfo My info: Using a hosted account with: cPanel ver. 74.0.4 Softaculous Apps Installer ver. 5.0.7 PHP ver. 5.6.37 MySQL ver. 10.1.35-MariaDB When I look at my PHP Info for my site, under the Configure Command section, I see this: --enable-fileinfo=shared' And under the SPL section, I see this: SplFileInfo Any ideas why I can install PrestaShop version 1.6.1.20 without errors, yet when I try to install version 1.7.4.2 I get that PHP extension not found error? Thanks. Edited August 22, 2018 by gsp (see edit history)
