Couple of newbie questions

Hey folks,

Just getting my head round all this.

Couple of things:

The newsletter module: Can you send mail using it? or just export an address book? I've got a php mailing list i've already written you see, so i guess i could cross polinate those two flowers to make something pretty.

Also, the front page, seems to include some sort of built in editor? I dont know how to write xml so that'd be handy. If no, I just want some basic instructions on how to replace it with straight php/html mix.

Last request, had a look through the themes, was hoping to find a dark one, tried messing with the CSS myself, but so many strings, I go colour blind!.

Any help with these would be great
