Rod_
Hi there guys. While we edit, change and add different pieces of code into our CSS file it is often getting bigger, larger and sometimes a bit "fuzzy". Isn't it?.Now I want to ask you: What's your CSS file weight?.I ask this just to see how much are you working on it and know if somebody is experimenting slower web loads. (I hope u understand what I'm trying to say with this poor ENG.).Does a CSS file affects directly to the Web Load?. What other tips you know to optimise (if necessary) the CSS code?. Cédric Girard
HelloThe CSS file weight affects the first loading of your website. For all other pages loaded, this file is preloaded in the browser cache...To see the real weight of each page, you could use the Firefox plugin YSlow (take a measure the first time, then reload the page ;-) )For example, the home page of my last store (slightly heavy but it's because of Christmas thema :cheese: )PS : my JS and CSS files aren't optimized...
