How can i add attributes to products?

Hi there,

i am new here, so probably a simple question: i like to add an attribute (like: color) to a product (like: tshirt). Don't see how to do that other than at 'combinations', but then i must choose one specific color.

catalog->Attributes and groups -> and click add new
then u go to product choos atrubutes and there add that whot u need.

i don't see where to add the attribute when editing a product. Only at 'combinations', but then i can only couple specific color and not let customer choose t-shirt color, more precise:

I have a product: t-shirt with short sleeves
and a group: color, with attributes: white, red, green, ...

i want to combine t-shirt with color, so customer can choose their t-shirt color.

got answer: can add multiple attributes when combining a product

/edit: when i use this it gives selection box, but displayes all the colors in cart, so no selection is made... pffff
