[SOLVED] Changing default location for shop?

Hi,

during the initial configuration of my 1.4 test shop I picked USA because that's where most of my customers are. But I am in Europe, so I only have taxes for the EU.

This causes the catalog to display identical prices for pre- and post tax, when you add a new item, rather than adding the 15% to the pre-tax price.

This is really annoying and I would like to revert my default location to Luxembourg, but can't find where to change that. I've tried looking everywhere, used the search function both in the BO and in the forum, and couldn't find how to do this.

Can someone help me please? Would be much appreciated!

Ok, found it myself after all - I was looking in setting and preferences while I should have been looking in shipping.

However, I still think it would be smart to separate the default location of the shipping zone from the default location of the BO and make them independent.

Companies like mine that are based in the EU but have a major customer base outside the EU, like the USA, need to cope with the day-to-day requirements of running a business here, while displaying pertaining information to the core customer group. I have 60-70 of US customers and want them to see the correct taxes and shipping costs, while being able myself to see VAT inc prices that the rest of my customers have to pay.

So making the default BO location independent of the default location of the FO when customers first access the store would be a good thing.
