howard
I have just got my shop to work on one host using .net and I want to move the shop to another host to use .comI have managed to make the shop work on the public side and the admin works up until I change the data base then I can not get passed the pass word Why should this be. Both hosts use mysql and both will run Prestashop perfectly well from scratch. I have even tried using the same password for both servers

wildus05
Have you checked in your admin file for a config.inc.php? I know I have used other scripts where you had to change info in two different areas to get it to work. I have not done or found a file yet. But will let you know if I find it. Paul C
You need the settings.inc.php hash keys to be the same in the old and the new. Are you sure that the values for those are the same?i.e. _COOKIE_KEY_ and _COOKIE_IV_Paul
