Billy
Ok I have noticed that the ajax search will not find anything on the FO unless you start from the beginning.Example74LS series chips which are for arcade machines.74LS280 74LS64574LS12674LS295That is a short list of some of the chips I have in stock above...Now if I type in "LS" in the BO search box it pulls up every chip in my inventory. = Awesome!!!If I type in "LS" in the FO it brings up nothing???Why doesn't the search work for the front office? Btw I have (Indexed products: 602 / 602.) So rebuilding the search is not the answer.I have 1.2.5 & 1.3.x sites with the same results....Strange.... Billy
Bump it up! I now have 3 different versions of prestashop installed. None of the Front Office Searches work correctly like the back office in 1.2.5, 1.3.1.1 or 1.4.2.5. http://www.prestashop.com/forums/viewthread/113190/configuring___using_prestashop/search_for_the_front_and_back_office_are_two_different_animals_why_front_office_does_not_work_correctly__lost_sales/
am79
strange behaviour also to me...today i noticed that searchcron didn't work as expected.. 25000 products but indexed only about the half of that... and FO search didn't work, neither Ajax neither sending Enter on the keyboard... the result first time was nothing, from second time a script loading continously without doing anything real... what's wrong?! is it an indexing problem? Billy
Let's see I now have 1.4.3.0 installed as well. Presta search in the back office works fine. The front office search has never worked and is the biggest pile...
