How do I assign loyalty points to a product?

Hi all,

as it says above. Probably a stupid question but...

How do I assign loyalty points to a product??

I have looked just about everywhere in the BO and can not find it
and, yes I have installed the module.

Problem number 2 with it is that I get the following text on the product page:
No reward points for this product because there's already a discount.

But the product has not got a discount???

Help please??

Anmybody can give me a quick answer to this? I am sure there is one :-)

You can't assign loyalty points to products. The product's price is used to calculate the number of loyalty points earned based on the conversion rate on the configuration page of the module.

I'm not sure about the second issue. You could try ticking "Allow discounts" on the configuration page.

I also really need a feature allowing me to assign a specific amount of loyalty point to individual products. Does anyone know of a way to do this by editing some of the code?

I think the loyalty points are assignes by order amount, not by type of product (10 € of order--1 loyalty point --0.2 € discount)

yeah, they are, but I need a way to make it so that if product x is bought, y amount of points will be added to the account. The amount will vary depending on the product, so I can't just make it a general % of the cart.
