Please help me out. I've got around 900 404 not founds - not great for SEO!

it comes up in google webmaster tools as:

http//www.mysite.com/content/www.mysite.com/content/new-page-here.html

Is this because of friendly urls?

Please help, i was ranking waaay better before I installed this, i'm really worried!

Any help AT ALL would be so greatly appreciated.

Thanks all and I really hope to hear from someone soon!

Kind regards,

stuffy

The same problem I had with facebook like button, it is related to url rewrite and Canonical URL module. Make sure that you have correct adress in settings of Canonical URL module without http:// or other stuff just www.mysite.com nothing else. I heard some versions have buggy Canonical URL together with friendly URL on. Make sure that you have correct setting in tools >> subdomains (www is required one) and after you have done this all regenerate .htacces file in tools >> generators

Those settings are already in place! just the way you described:

canonical: w w w.mysite.com

friendly url is on

and the subdomain is already set to w w w

My version is Version 1.3.2.3

Is this one that had the bugs?

Thank you so much for your reply by the way!

Kind regards,

Stuffy

Try to regenerate .htaccess, I am using 1.3.1 my problem was "/" in Canonical URL module settings, do not forget to regenerate sitemap.xml after all changes were done just for google.

If it won't help try disable Canonical URL or try Upgrade to 1.3.6
