badger1010
I've created a 1.4b test site which has installed ok.However, some of the newer product images are not displaying. The img folder from the current live site was downloaded and uploaded to the test site, so in theory both sites should display the same images.Checking the p folder (inside the img folder) there are images that display on the live site, but there is no sign of them in the p folder, live site or test site.So the question is, where are the images being stored?I've searched the entire site using ftp and cannot find them.Where else does PS store images? Thanks for any help. rocky
Did you use an FTP client? You are better off using cPanel, since FTP clients have a maximum number of files per directory they can display. Most likely, your FTP client only displayed the first X images, which is why the newest products are missing images. Those images were never transferred! xbfish
Hey badger, I am in the same situation as you. How did you managed to export all the images out?I tried using Cpanel filemanager but I have to save those images one by one. It was a pain! Please let me know if you have any good idea! Thanks! rocky
Select all the files and directories in the root directory, then choose the "Compress" option. You can then download a single compressed file, then delete the compressed file off your server when you're done.
