smiffy
ps v1.4 already has a table in place to store 'user search words'.I have not found (and am disappointed) that it does not log/preserve each search query, verbatim.Instead, the statssearch module, if enabled, logs any 'keywords' which have matched a user search.(Keyword == row in the PS search_words db table, built from product titles, descriptions, and tag text)So, as for "create a page presenting past user searches"...that, exactly that (if you are only interested in successfully matched keywords) already exists, and is displayed in the backoffice: Stats } Shop SearchAre you interested in presenting this on a public-facing page?A 'search voyeur' or 'popular searches' page?
