Peter Phelan
Hi folks,I am completely new to PS and although I have searched, I am still not sure on how to fix the following PayPal error. I am in the UK and using the PP module 2.1 things work ok for me. However someone in the USA trying to purchase I get:A client has encountered a problem with the module PayPalAPI, see the report:PayPal response:TIMESTAMP -> 2011-01-15T16:04:21ZA client has encountered a problem with the module PayPalAPI, see the report:PayPal response:TIMESTAMP -> 2011-01-15T16:05:55ZL_ERRORCODE0 -> 10736L_SHORTMESSAGE0 -> Shipping Address Invalid City State Postal CodeL_LONGMESSAGE0 -> A match of the Shipping Address City, State, and Postal Code failed.L_SEVERITYCODE0 -> Error And the sale fails. Peter Phelan
Hi and thanks for the feedback. I checked with the client in the USA and he did in fact not complete the address fields correctly. Having ordered again, his sale went through. Although I still got the TIMESTAMP error notification from my server.I'll go through all my settings again; I imagine it will be something simple. I do have the Express option checked as an "option"Peter

Peter Phelan
Hi GillianAre you able to upgrade to 1.4? I was a bit apprehensive about this, but it all went ok and, it might well sort the PP problem. Is the PayPal Module you have installed version 2.1? If not you can download this and update in 1.3.7With kind regardsPeter

Peter Phelan
Hi GillianThe latest version - I see mine is now actually 2.4 - is built in to 1.4, but you can download for your version free in the Addins section - see - http://addons.prestashop.com/en/payments-gateways/1748-paypal.htmlThe just install as s normal module I think. I am no expert!! so maybe others will chip in with anything more useful. There are also paid for modules by some members here that you might want to check out. This way you should get some help with installation and any set up issues.Hope this helpsWith kind regardsPeter

Peter Phelan
Hi Gillian, thanks for the update and glad to hear you are now ok.As for tips, I am only a novice at on line shops, and indeed Prestashop so not really qualified to comment. Furthermore we each have our own personal "identity" in the business world; one that reflects our intended position in the marketplace and the products and services offered.Selling children's toys for example, needs a very different appoach and style to selling say "Designer" goods such as expensive perfume, jewelley and clothes! There is still an aspirational "lifestyle" element to each of course. And you seem to be pitching your products at a certain "sector" of the population too.So good luck with all of this! With kind regardsPeter
