Julien
Hello, i have a problem for override a module in prestashop 1.7. I can override css file and it's work but when i try to override a .tpl file i obtains no change on the page. I am certain to place my files at the right place (THEME_FOLDER/modules/MODULE_NAME/FILE_NAME.tpl, the same location as the .tpl file of the prestashop module directory). Thank you in advance, saddened if my English is not very good.
Knowband Plugins
Hi, First, You have to check the path of the tpl file which already overrides in the theme. Then, you have to copy the file in the same location in your module directory of the theme. Copy file from: /modules/MODULE_NAME/views/templates/*/FILE_NAME.tpl To: /THEME_FOLDER/THEME_NAME/modules/MODULE_NAME/views/templates/*/FILE_NAME.tpl Replace * with proper folder structure. Kindly note that you have to keep the same folder structure to override tpl file. I hope it will help.
Guest
Unfortunately that no longer works out of the box on 1.7. The module will have to support it and not many are truly 1.7 compliant, not even after two years of "stable" versions...
