Some newbie problems

Hello fellow users. I am fairly new to Prestashop and having to edit a website that someone before me worked proved to be more of a hassle than I thought it would be .... so if there's anybody that can help me, i'd appreciate it! I have good basic knowledge on html and php.

First of all, on the website : http://yourjewelstore.com, the client asked me to modify the facebook link ... but no matter how much I look for it, I can't seem to find it... so anybody has any ideas how the original user put that block in there? Because it doesn't seem to be part of a module.

Secondly, I was trying to install a module and although I uploaded the .zip file in the module category, it doesn't show up anywhere even if it says ''successfully uploaded''. Did I do anything wrong?

I have looked at the website you mentioned. The facebook badge and link is based on html and is hooked in the left column. It's most likely using a third party module such as Addstuff or a module that allows a user to input html codes. You can check that by looking into the "Page Source" codes.

As for the installation of module via a zip file, I think older versions of Prestashop doesn't work. Try unzipping the file and upload the module into the module directory manually.
