category image is too tiny. How to change height?

When i assign an image to a category, it get scaled to a certain height, and i'd like to change the scaling factor. Actually, i'm more interested in the width. Where can i modify the category image proportions? I checked some .php files and i discard the moduls folder. So?

The easy way to get around this to look at the image mapping feature within the Catalog -> Image Mapping.

I use this feature to assign an image to each of my categories rather than used the scaled down ones of the products.

Create an image then assign it to the category underneath, if you need to alter the size Preferences -> Image Size and alter the large_scene image sizes there.

Oh! That tip is great for my needs. Because actually i need two images per cat. One with the title, and another with a model.

Well, regarding to the scale issue, i found a way to customize that in Preferences->images menu.

And with respect to the image assigning you mentioned... i'm looking for now right now but the option is not visible for me.

Have you not got the option in Catalog -> Image Mapping? Which version are you using?

I do have it. I just re-opened the Image Mapping option and there they are. Thanks!

Is this menu related to Scenes? I mean, the IPods in the demos are a little gallery and not a single picture. It's because of the image mapping tool?

Yes this is related to scenes, but if you tick the categories below each of them you can assign them.

The main shot on the home page is in Home Page Editor, this is a module not a just an image.
