Kelvin Koh
Currently I'm using CSV files to upload and update my list of products, which numbers to almost 1,000 spread over a couple of categories and subcategories. I anticipate I'll be updating my product lists and details frequently with a few csv files each time. I don't want my import folder to be flooded with lots of older csv files, while making it much easier to find the correct newest versions for updating. The problem is, I can't delete csv files in the import folder for maintainance. Is this made by design or is it due to my setting of the import folder's permission?
rocky
Not being able to delete CSV files from the Back Office is by design, but you should be able to manually delete them from the admin/import directory. If you can't, it must be a permissions issue.
Kelvin Koh
Thanks rocky. Managed to delete the older csv files from the admin/import directory in cpanel. Now it's a lot easier to find the newly uploaded csv files.
