With the Anti-spam Protector module you will have the solution. We have designed it to fix the problem. Also this module has some advanced features to increase security and website access protection.

 

What does the module do?

 

Through configuration page you can create your own blacklists of IP addresses, domains and email address. Anti-spam Protector will do the rest automatically!

 

The module prohibits to send messages from the contact form to all users who are on the blacklists.

 

In addition, this module is provided with a database of blacklists of more than 52,000 domains, more than 2,600 IP addresses considered as SPAM and many information to prohibit access to more than 1,500  bad Bots.

 

In addition, the module is based on intelligent system to restricts access to the web for IP addresses, email addresses and User-agents that are considered as spam after  trying massive unsuccessful attempts to send messages from the contact form.

 

• Blocked Access Logs

 

You have a available panel to see registry of all blocked access:

- Name of the User-Agent

- IP adress

- Email

- Browser used

- Operating system used

- Date and Time

- If you have managed to validate Google reCaptcha or not.

- Number of attempts made with the same IP.

 

• Restrict access to the store

 

The module has the ability to restrict access to the store to everybody considered as SPAM. The database of IP addresses is updated on a daily basis and stored in the module using the CRON task configuration.

 

Note: Google Bots are not affected by these guidelines.

 

 

• Prohibits sending of messages from the contact form

 

Another of its functions is to prevent messages from being sent from the contact form by users that are included in the blacklists that you can create manually in the configuration page of the module.

You can create your own blacklists of email addresses, IP addresses and domains.

 

• Avoid mass message attempts

 

You will be able to configure the minimum time limit between sending messages. If any user exceeds the maximum numbers of attemtps, It will be considered as SPAM automatically.

 

• Protection with Google reCaptcha

 

To further increase protection, the module implements the protection with Google reCpatcha V2. No bot can send spam messages.

Unlike other modules, this module integrates the validation in the same server, so in case you deactivate the option to show javascript from the browser, Google reCpatcha will continue to work without being visible and you can not validate the message to be sent .
