move PS 1.7 to new host

I had this question moving PS 1.7.2.4 to a new host but I found the solution so since I cannot delete this post, here's what was going on...

I configured PS_SHOP_DOMAIN and PS_SHOP_DOMAIN_SSL in the configuration table but when I entered the URL it would redirect to the old URL. I thought I had followed all the steps but I could not find the page again.

Finally I found instructions days later but it also said go to the shop_url table and sure enough there was more pointing to the old site. That was what was making it redirect back.

Now I just have to start over again because when I loaded the site, it didn't have the images as if my backup mismatched the database with older set of files.
