[SOLVED] Shipping Rate Not Adjusting for Zone - Canada

I need immediate assistance figuring out why my shipping rates are not adjusting based on the customer address (billing/shipping). If you see below, I've made configurations on the Rates, Zones, and Carrier. Each having settings in place for USA and Canada only. Yet when I test my front office with a Canadian address, the Shipping Rate is for USA! What am I doing wrong??

I need help as soon as you can, please. Thanks so much!

Hi,

Try and create a new zone for Canada (Change it from default "US") and try it again. I just had similar problem then instead of using Europe for UK, I created a new Zone for UK. After this, everything is working fine... give it a trial & let me know if you have further questions.

I had a similar problem, but before I made the above changes I noticed that all of the Shipping >> States had a default of "US", so I changed the Canadian States to the proper Zone and everything worked.

 

Originally, when I set the Zones in Shipping >> Countries, I thought that was all that needed, but, possibly, since I checked "Contains states: yes", I also needed to set the Zone for each state? I just assumed the states would automatically default to the Zone set for the country.

 

Everything works now, so this solution might work for some people.
