Images not showing for editing in CMS editor on CMS pages

Been looking for days for anything similar to my problem.
(It's really hard to find answers in the forum. I tend to get posts that has nothing to do with my search and in foreign languages too...maybe something wrong with the way I search or is the search engine that bad?)
Anyway, can't figure this out: When I go to edit CMS pages with the CMS editor or whatever it's called and I want to insert an image it works fine, but when I go back to maybe edit the picture's size or placing, the image is not shown in the editor and so I can't access it to change anything. The image is still shown on the page in preview. I can also see the image in the html code view. But that doesn't help to access the image and change settings.
What am I doing wrong? Is it supposed to be like this? I have tried this in several different prestashop installations, the newest one 1.3.5 but all are like this. (Sometimes when I click to edit the page I can see the image flashing quickly in the editor window and then it's gone.) I have uploaded the images to a folder on my (local) server as I read in one forum post.

Hope someone has an solution.
