Hosting Question - PHP Version

Hi All,

I'm getting ready to go live with Prestashop (version 1.3.1.1) on iPage as a hoster. I've found a critical issue, authentication.php won't redirect the user on login. My host is running PHP 5.2.12, with no known plans to upgrade (at this stage). There is a known bug (4444) with PHP version <=5.2.13 and authentication.php.

My question is: Does anyone else have a similar problem? I see some hosters like Blue host also with PHP5.2.x and others here using them for Prestashop, so am I missing something?

Or, can you recommend a hosting supplier that supports Prestashop? I'm getting a bit tired of chasing the minutiae with hosters.
