Urgent help – “Order creation failed” in front and BO

Hello,

 

I have moved my 1.4x shop to a new VPS server ready for a new 1.7x shop that I am currently building.

 

Since migration of the servers (shared to VPS) no orders can be created in the front or back office. I feel this is a server setting/mode as apparently all data and files were transferred successfully. (I can create new products/customers but no new orders)

 

Modules such as paypal accept the payment but no order in BO is created, cheque and bank transfer just return ‘Order creation failed’. Turning on errors and debug doesn’t show anything.

 

I have tried a new database with a backup imported but still get the error. Tried the default theme but no different.

 

As it stands I cant take any online orders and it is going to be a couple of weeks before I get the 1.7.4 shop ready for production!!

 

Any help or suggestions would be gratefully received, as I’m loosing orders and frustrating visitors.

 

 

I have run Tools::dieObject($order); but I dont understand the result, please let me know if its useful.
