Sub Cat Images but not in products

I would like to have images on my sub category pages but not have the image show at the top of the product page. Is this possible. I'm using V1.3.2.3


Also I have noticed that on one category (the original one set up), when I click into a product and then click on an image using the 'In the same category' everything works fine, however I have added a second category/subcategory and when I do the same I get a ? image appear in the 'in the same category' box. How can I fix this?
