Prestashop for mobile phone!

Hi!

Where I live (in Japan) a majority of people go on the net through their mobiles.
I would like to know how I could make Prestashop available for them.
Do I just need to change the template?
Is anybody interested to develop a payment through mobile phone?

Joel, If I understand correctly your theme is just that a theme.

 

Does it have the ability to switch between a desktop theme and a mobile theme?

 

Or would a store owner have to create two versions of their site, one regular and one with your theme, then detect if they're on a mobile device?

 

I guess if you're really serious you would want an app like Prestashop Mobile or MobiCart. Correct me if I'm wrong.

You can also use phonegap to wrap your site or the checkout in. www.phonegap.com Just watchout with apple, they do not like web pages wrapped in applications.

It's a separate service from anything listed on the Addons store, as it is a custom-developed application submitted to the various app stores.

 

How long ago did you contact them? I know that they're in the middle of some exciting new updates to the app, so if it was recently, I would encourage you to be patient so that they have time to get back to you.

Thanks for the mention cypherdicer.

 

We've just launched a new MobiCart add-on for PrestaShop. The new add-on is now featured inside our MobiCart admin panel and will now not only import your products into MobiCart, it will also push back orders from MobiCart to PrestaShop.
