Catalog mode

Hi all,

I have put a prestashop 1.6.1.7 shop into catalog mode, and sliders stopped working. Both Unite Revolution Slider and another slider used for testimonials don't work.

Once I remove catalog mode, everything works fine again.

Any thoughts, help, would be appreciated

Can you share the site's url? It might need some specific javascript or dom that is not there in catalog more

It seems as if no jquery javascript is loading in catalog mode, as the slider is not working or any sliding feature such as a testimonials slider I have. Or even blog posts in slider etc.

What could cause a working site to stop displaying moving sliders when in catalog mode?

check the modules source code for check of $PS_CATALOG_MODE

sounds like module(s) are checking this and when enabled not running

This is your problem:

Uncaught ReferenceError: ajaxCart is not defined

orderfees module, try to disable it and see if it fixes the errors

that fixed it.

Disabled the orderfees module

But could cause this? I mean why does it work in normal mode, and not in catalog mode?

There is likely a mistake or something missing from the code, that breaks when using catalog mode
