Proteas
Me too. Trying to upgrade from 1.7.3.3 to 1.7.4.0 gives me the same error. 1. Disabled Backup Options still didn't work with above error. 2. Changed max_execution_time in php.ini to 90 still didn't work with above error. 3. I downloaded the prestashop_1.7.4.0.zip archive, uploaded it in adminXXX/autoupgrade/download/ and through the Expert Settings I chose the Local Archive option. I selected the above archive and entered version "1.7.4.0.". This seemed to work, because it successfully backed up all files (including images) and the database. But after the backup finished and the upgrade started I got the same error: Top Activity Log Messages Now upgrading files... 19283 files will be upgraded. 18683 files left to upgrade. [Ajax / Server Error for action upgradeFiles] textStatus: "error " errorThrown:"Internal Server Error " jqXHR: " " Bottom Activity Log Messages [...] Copied /adminXXX/filemanager/jPlayer/skin/blue.monday/jplayer.blue.monday.video.play.png. Copied /adminXXX/filemanager/jPlayer/skin/blue.monday/spirites_blue.monday_2011.pxm. Copied /adminXXX/filemanager/jPlayer/skin/index.php. Directory /adminXXX/filemanager/js already exists. /adminXXX/filemanager/js files left to upgrade. And now its stuck here... I want to mention that before all these I changed all files and folder permissions to 0755/0644.
