jmase
Hey!I'm using Home Text Editor 1.5 with my site and the text and picture work fine. However, my text is displaying with no spaces, when I would like to have paragraps and bold text in it. The Home Text Editor seems very basic and doesnt have many options really, are there any alternatives?I have tried editing the tpl file in editorials but to no avail. I tried to insert a line but that didnt work.Any idea what code I need to use to insert lines or where I can get a more advanced home text editing module?Kind regards and thanks for any help!EDIT: I have uploaded a picture to show how my editor looks. I see other people with more options in the editor like here:http://www.prestashopic.com/how-to-edit-homepage-of-the-prestashopHow do i get these advanced options? rocky
I've had no problems with TinyMCE on my website. What you mean that your text isn't displaying with spaces? Can you provide a link to your website so we can see?
jmase
sorry rocky i meant paragraphs and stuff like bold text. When i go to edit my home page it just gives me a very basic box to type in, whereas other people seem to have more options like here:http://www.prestashopic.com/how-to-edit-homepage-of-the-prestashop
rocky
If you aren't seeing TinyMCE, then you must have a Javascript error preventing it from loading. Check whether it says "Done, with errors" in the bottom-left corner of IE. If it does, click the icon to view the errors. Post them here.

rocky
I've censored your admin directory and token. Something must have gone wrong when you uploaded your store. Go to View Source in your browser and let me know what is on line 115. Here's what I have on line 115: plugins : "safari, pagebreak, style, layer, table, advimage, advlink, inlinepopups, media, searchreplace, contextmenu, paste, directionality, fullscreen", Perhaps one of these plugins didn't upload properly? Make sure that the js/tinymce and all its subdirectories uploaded correctly.
jmase
115 - 120 in admin panel on the text editor page is: $(element).tinymce({ // Location of TinyMCE script script_url : '/store2/js/tinymce/jscripts/tiny_mce/tiny_mce.js', // General options theme : "advanced", plugins : "safari, pagebreak, style, layer, table, advimage, advlink, inlinepopups, media, searchreplace, contextmenu, paste, directionality, fullscreenIs there anyway i can uninstall the home text editor completely and then reinstall it, to see if that fixes the problem? rocky
Does this error only occur in the "Home text editor" module or on the "1. Info." tab of the product editor and CMS pages too? If it is just the "Home text editor", then you should delete it off your server, then re-upload the one from the PrestaShop archive. If it is everywhere, then it's TinyMCE itself that isn't working. Make sure that the /js/tinymce/ directory and its subdirectories uploaded correctly.
jmase
As far as i can see, the erorr only appears on the home text editor page.I will try uploading the original and see if the problem is resolved.
