Josiah
Trying to install from prestashop_1.7.4.0.zip CLI install fails with the following message: Failed to copy "http://i18n.prestashop.com/translations/1.7.4.0/en-US/en-US.zip" to "/blahblah/prestashop/translations/sf-en-US.zip" because source file could not be opened for reading. And yet, I can wget that file into that location using the same account and can change the file name, too. Web interface install works no better, but that is a different issue that I do not want to address here.
jgamio
I got some similar issue maybe not the same take at look https://www.prestashop.com/forums/topic/843402-500-internal-server-error/#comment-2903405
Josiah
Sounds like the same issue. As I mentioned, I tried copying the file into place manually, but this changed nothing. The error still occurred. I wonder if it is possible that the file is first being downloaded to some strange place where the user has write, but not read, privileges?
