hounddog
HelloI need some help please, my hosting is with Godaddy premium account, I have been trying to get the 1.3.5 to work for me, after I install it and delete the install folder and rename the admin file I can go in the admin panel one time, when I try to log back in it gives me the 500 error code, so I installed 1.4 beta 2 and everything works great no problems, my question is do you think 1.4 is stable enough to open a store with it? or should I keep trying to get 1.3.5 to work? Thanks

But some people do use beta for their live shop.
Martin C
I would not do it, imagin there is a security issue? You always have to be very carefull with this. This version is only for tests!

ysco
@hounddogNever use for your shop a beta version as there still a lot off problems with the 1.4 beta's , just wait till it goes final and the upgrade to latest version. As for 1.3.5 try to enable show errors to track down the problem, you will find the file in the folder config then open with your txt editor the following file config.inc.php and look for display_errors ( it's one off the first lines ) and change off to on.Now if there is a config issue it will show some errors so you can track down you problem, when done then do not forget to switch it to off again.ysco..
