Hi Ruxina,

1. Translating the e-mail titles and also change the default text you need to go to the MAILS folder. All the files related to the e-mails are there. So you have to change both files the TPL and TXT for each one you also can delete the Powered by Prestashop, etc. in case you need it and change the colour, etc.

2.Sorry , but I can't help you with this one.:) Unless you want to send a e-mail or message manually, than you can click on view customer order where is the payment, address, tracking number, etc. At the bottom in your left side you'll see a option to sent a messade to the customer, you can write there and choose to sent to the customer this way he will see your message in his account page and also receive a e-mail.

3. The newsletter in my understand it's you have to created your one, I didn't find any file related to the creation of a newsletter on Prestashop, maybe they have this on the new version I'm using the v1.0. The only thing you have is the newsletter e-mails that your customers will be receiving once they sign up. The newsletter module it's only for you to have the Newsletter sign up/unsubscribed in your page.

To creating a Newsletter I personally use Mail Chimp, that its a web service only for that matter. You can create a good look newsletter with that pretty easy. They also tracking how many people is open the newsletter, etc there are other sites that doing the same kind of email marketing so it's up to you each one to use. Just take the e-mails form your register customers and save in your account there, create your newsletter and they will do the rest.

About email titles: I already translated the e-mail content, my question was about the email title that customers receive, it is not the file title, I cannot see it in the file, where is it???

Hello ,

I think you'll like the Mail Chimp!;)

To change the e-mail title you need to go on HTML file in MAILS folder.Since I changed the titles too, I attached a picture of where it's the file and where you can see wheres is the title, also this way we'll know if we are talking about the same thing.

The picture is for the file: contact.html where you can see my title.

This way the when people receive a e-mail the subject will be: [artransmitte] Contact from Artransmitte Website.

I couldn't find a way to take the [] out!rs

Hi ,

The subject of the e-mail is the <title>Message from contact<title/> like is showed in the post and picture.

But , if you mean by Subject the words inside the [........] than you just go to the Back Office/Preferences/Contact and change where say SHOP NAME in my case I changed to artransmitte.com so you can see in the picture.

The subject in the e-mail will be: [artransmitte.com] Message from contact.

But the word always will be inside the [....] and this will be the same for all the e-mails. But if you want another sentence after the [....] than you change in the <title>......<title/>

Hope was that you are asking.:)

the problem was that I kept the back office in English, but the front office is in Romanian. so, whenever I was changing the order status for example from processing to delivered, the e-mails subject the customer was receiving was "[my shop] order delivered" I changed those statuses in romanian, now the e-mail subject is correct, but when I generate a voucher it's still in english. That's something I can live with. Anyway It seems that I have to write an e-mail to customers anytime I give them discounts without canceling one of their order...see no.2

Hi Ruxinna,

Are you sure that you translated all the Files that are in the MAILS folder? Because with you change the one for Order Delivered, your costumer will receive the correct Subject: "[my shop] ordine furnizat"

But if you have already done that my last option will be for you to change in the back office, there's a place where you can add more options to the order processing and also you are able to change the titles like Payment accepted, payment error.

Go to Back Office/Orders/ Order Statuses/ you'll see all the options related to the order processing. Choose the one you want change, on the right column ACTIONS, click in the "notepad" for edit the Payment for example.

Regarding your question 2....In the same Order Statuses you have the option to Add a new status, so maybe if you create one for Voucher you can have this sent automatic like the order update.

Tell me if was that you were looking for.;)

I translated everything that I needed for the e-mails, from the back office, my friend in php and now it works properly. Thank you for your help!
I added new order status for vouchers,as you told me to, that's an option for a previous order and you can see the result: it's not showing the voucher number and the voucher amount (as I generated that from payments, discounts) the e-mail associated with vouchers is set to be delivered once you cancel a product, so it gives the customer the same amount that product was.

"Buna Jon,

Comanda dvs. #7

Aveti un cupon de cumparaturi #7.

Codul cuponului dvs : {voucher_num}, in valoare de {voucher_amount}.
Copiati si plasati codul cuponului la urmatoarea dvs. comanda chiar inainte de procesa plata."

What I am saying here is that when you generate a voucher in your shop, in back office- payments- discounts- add new. You can see that you can edit all the information about a voucher, even choose the customer you want to give that discount, but he won't receive any e-mail notification. The customer has to log into your shop, and click on his vouchers to see it. There's no way I can do that, since I am not familiar with php, html, and all that, so I have to create an email and send it myself. Anyway, I think this is an exception and it's not something to worth this much attention. Maybe in the next version they will fix that.
