[SOLVED] change quantity in order.php / cart

hi

is it possible to edit the quantity in cart ? example... when user click or choose quantity from home featured, it will be item A : quantity 1 in cart
Before user checks out from the cart, is he able to change the quantity .. maybe user now wants to order more.. changes the quantity from 1 to 50. In default way, user needs to either

a) delete the item and go to product page and add 50 unit for the item
click on the '+' 49 times more

Can we do something that can modify the quantity directly from the order.php / cart ?

You can not do this at cart block(which is on the upper right corner by default)

But this can be done at shopping cart page with URL /order.php?step=0

for example, http://*******/order.php?step=0 page.

I suggest you have a link to this URL at you page as first steps of checkout, so that your customer will be able to make the changes.

hmm as for that that step=0, any way or documentation i can read on how to set / do it ?
or is it i need to create a .php page manually ? then how about what is the content inside that step.php ?

PrestaShop v1.4 changes the quantity label into a text field you can use type in a quantity. Unfortunately, backporting this option to PrestaShop v1.3 would be difficult. I suggest waiting for PrestaShop v1.4 final to be released, then upgrade your site to it and install a PrestaShop v1.4 compatible theme.

i see..
in the mean time, i have modify the home featured.tpl so that i will list out the quantity there.. (instead to order quantity : 1) now user is able to choose how many items they want to click on add to cart in main page (home featured)

in that case i should wait for 1.4 release then.. in the mean time, i found out some error on shipping..
