Create Another Category

Hi,

 

Wondering how to make another Top Category such as "Home"

In our shops, we want to list categories as follows,

 

Computer Products

--> Motherboards

--> Keyboards

 

Cell Phones

--> Motorola

--> LG

Welcome to the PrestaShop Forum

 

At this time, it is impossible to create multiple 'Home' pages in PrestaShop.  This is equivalent to a feature called Multiple Shops, which is on our Features To Come list and will be one of the first new features added after the official v1.0 release, which is due out in the next few weeks.

 

In the meantime, you can of course create "Computer Products" and "Cell Phones" main categories with various subcategories, as follows:

 

Computer Products - Category

--> Motherboards - Subcategory of 'Computer Products'

--> Keyboards - Subcategory of 'Computer Products'

 

Cell Phones - Category

--> Motorola - Subcategory of 'Cell Phones'

--> LG - Subcategory of 'Cell Phones'
