Do I really have to quess when an order is delivered???

We want to use the RMA feature, however this can only be used if the order has been put into "delivered" status. How do you suggest I know when an order has been delivered? Am I to phone every customer and ask them, or quess?

This seems like an oversight on the developers side. Surely the order should be automatically set to delivered once the timeframe has passed based on the shipping option selected. Even this assumes that the order is delivered so isn't ideal...

...Any suggestions?
