Jo!
So how do I use "Transplant a module" feature? It's inactive for all modules!!!
polleke
After you clicked Positions with the Modules tab I also found that the modules were not directly editable. As far as I found you have to click on "Transplant a module" where you will have the possibility to ie. assign the "Block Payment Logo" (choose it from the modules listbox) to ie "Right Column Blocks". Afterwards it will show twice as it is also still hooked into the Left Column Blocks but you can just remove it from that hook.Once you know it is easy :-)
Jo!
OK, now i see.BUT:First of all I thought that TRANSPLANT A MODULE is a button INSIDE of modules that are listed in POSITIONS. And that's happened because:2nd: this is ABSOLUTELLY UNREADABLE (in this particular case) interface's issue. Spent 2 much time to SEE the TRANSPLANT A MODULE button. >Anyway TNX! :-)
plumamy
okay I'm having the same issue. I created a transplant but have yet to see it in the final page after selecting it?Loving how I can move the boxes up and down, but not from right side to left side. I guess okay for now. Dave Egerton
Not all modules can be transplanted from say. left column to right column, it will depend if there is a tpl (template) for where you wish to place it. These templates control the look and feel for the position you place it. There is alsoa register hook thing - but I am still trying to understand this fully myselfOverall the system should ideally not allow you to transplant a module to a position, if it will not work there anyway. Although a v good product, the biggest weakness of Prestashop is lack of detailed, high level documentation right now
