Installation cannot proceed after database setup (PS1.3.5)

I'm trying to install PS1.3.5 on my local machine.
At step 3 of the installation, I have setup and verified the database connection to be correct. The database has properly been setup as I see the tables on the created & identified database name.

However, When I press "Next", it doesn't proceed.. The message: "You have to create a database, help available in readme_en.txt" is just colored fuchsia and nowhere to go.

What could have i been missing?


PS: If the host is using another port for MySQL, I had to add the port on the database server name. e.g: 'localhost:3309" where 3309 is the port of the installed MySQL.
