mlsto
Hello,Just started using Presta Shop and really like it but have a problem with Moneybookers when you pay it ask to login to pay. I thought this could be done without a login, there also is no link to create an account on the MB page.Is this the way it is suppose to work or I am doing something wrong? Thanks for any assistance. Bruno Leveque
Hi mlsto,You can create a Moneybookers merchant account here:http://www.moneybookers.com/partners/prestashop/I guess you are talking about buyers accounts. The system asks you to log-in because you have enabled the e-Wallet option. If you only want to provide classic payment options, you should disable this option in the configuration page of this module.Regards,
mlsto
Thanks Presta Team,Appreciate the help very much. I have a Moneybookers account with Merchant enabled all is setup in Presta including secret word and email activation but the only other option I see is "Hide the login form on Moneybookers page".See attached image, unless I must apply for a direct merchant account through your link. I ticked and unticked the box and both still ask for the login first not normal credit card payment.
Bruno Leveque
Why does your screenshot doesn't include the Internation payment methods? the e-Wallet is part of them
mlsto
Sorry, I did not include in the shot, here is the top.I notice on your link you can sign up for ewallet or quick checkout, since I believe I have the ewallet does this cause the problem? Thanks in advance. Bruno Leveque
Yes, even if you can't call it "a problem", that's why you are asked to log-in.Also tick "Hide the login form".
mlsto
Thanks, I really do appreciate your help and quick replies. You are right not a problem but I guess for some it serves its purpose. I will signup for the quick checkout from your link.I did tick the hide login form but it still ask to login. Also why the large "?" on the Moneybookers page in the shop.See image attached. Thanks again for everything. Is the a way to solve this? hi, those of you who are using moneybookers, I understand that you can use its services without login. Fine, prerequisit met. However, does the module direct the customer to an external moneybookers page or can the payment be done on the shops's website?thanksphil
Mallee Boy
Phil,The default set up will send you to their site, but not in the same obtrusive manner as Paypal.
Pippo3000
Phil,The default set up will send you to their site, but not in the same obtrusive manner as Paypal. sounds ok, but since you mention the default setup: so it is possible to have it fully integrated? anybody tried this and is there a link to see how this looks like?phil
Mallee Boy
Phil,I have not tried it and so I can't comment. If it is possible then Moneybookers would most certainly have something to say about it on their site. You can set up your account and get the module in working order and simply switch it off while you are deciding if it is worth having. This is what we have done. Panache
I installed the Moneybookers 1.4 module and my Moneybookers account is activated, but I cannot find where to set/find the SECRET WORD.(see attached screenshot) The Moneybookers option does now not show up in payment options in the shop.Any help would be appreciated
Mallee Boy
If I am not mistaken, you will be able to set your secret word once you have verified your account.
Panache
Thanks for your reply, but unfortunately that is not the case. In the PDF with instructions (see attachment) is a Merchant Tools link shown, which does not appear when I log into my Moneybookers bizz account. I even started the whole process from scratch and opened a personal account with MB as well, but still no secret word or Merchant Tools to be found... Pinkloveshy
HiI finally sorted moneybookers account setup. You need to get the account activated by them then put in your own secret word into the merchant tools section on the moneybooker site, then validate in the prestashop module BO. The big problem I have now is I'm using one page checkout on version 1.3.7 prestashop and the money booker options do not show as a payment choice initially. If I choose bank transfer / cheque then go back to change payment option the moneybooker options show and process.I.e. moneybooker option shows on step3 only Has anyone come across this issue and resolved?Would appreciate a little helpRegardsPinkloveshy
