Add a service at checkout

I'd like to add an optional service when customers buy something from a certain group of products (specifically finishing the edges of fabric when they order fabric).  IE if a customer buys fabric, at the checkout there would be a radio button or box that says "add serging the edges of fabric" with a charge/cost per piece of fabric.  So if they buy 3 different pieces of fabric and the service costs $2.00 they would be charged $6.00.  Does anyone know how/if this can be done?
