roboy
Whenever I update a product, perhaps change the price or the description, it messes up the order in which products are listed in that category. So after I have updated a product I always have to manually restore the order again by pressing the small black arrows next to each product in the product catalog (back panel). This has proved to be rather time consuming as I often need to make changes to the products. It surprises me that I couldn't find any info about this issue on the forum. Am I the only one experiencing this? Is there anything I can do in order to stop this from happening?Any help, even the smallest clue, would be much appreciated. pasko
Hi, I got that to, but you don't have to do it by pressing the small black arrows, you can just drag them.So it's quiet fast to do...Regards.
roboy
Wow, that's amazing! I thought I'd go crazy pressing those arrows all the time. Thank you so much :-)...but, still I would really prefer not having to restore the order at all. So, before I change this thread into "SOLVED" I would like to hear if there is any fix that can keep Prestashop from messing up the order in the first place. Is there? If not, I can just say that such a fix would be very high on my wishlist for future versions. I love Prestashop, but this particular issue can be quite annoying to say the least, especially if a product is linked to more than one category.I would be grateful for more input on this issue. Troy
If you are talking about products according to price or A-Z order etc, its atBack Office >> Preferences >> ProductsAs per attachment. I dont know whether this is what you are looking for.
