partial stock quantity

Hi!

I'm currently using OSCommerce and am considering moving to PrestaShop as it looks really good.

However I make and sell tablet woven lengths of weave. This means I may make 2.7m of weave, and I charge a price per metre.

In OSCommerce I've had to set attributes and prices so customers can select in a drop down box what length they want and it calculates the price, but it's a cumbersome way of doing it.

Can PrestaShop deal with decimal places in stock quantities? EG if a customer wants 2.5m of weave, can I set 2.5 in stock or do I have to do it in a similar way to OSC?

No, PrestaShop doesn't let you have decimals in quantities. You must use attributes to do it.
