flowerysky
Hi,We dont want competitors copy information directly from our website, so we wrote a small programme for it, but:1) when open the website by IE, anti-copy does work, but at the same time, any inputting is not available, which makes impossible for customer to register or contact us......... really bad.2) when open the website by Firefox, the programme doesnt work at all, nothing changes, still can copy ...So, is prestashop software with some self-protection system for such programme? Thanks!Jojo
fuskoz
Hello flowerysky, I was wondering if you were able to find any solution for this problem. I'm doing lots of translating for my shop and I really don't want anyone to copy my product description. Please let me know if you found anything. vekia
but disabling right click it is really poor security method, if someone want to copy something - the can always do that. There is no way to protect ANYTHING in webbrowser exactly as @Dh42 said
guest*
The only way to protect a site is to use encryption, but this is really a technique only for software and not for homepages which do live from content. By encrypting content also the serp's cannot read it and will not index the site. I somebody is interesting in encryption of own content (I coded for example a food/calories/weight calculator and integrated in my shop as an extra for users before buying a product) - I did it with HTML Guardian. You can exclude the metas from encryption in order that this are indexed, but not the content which is the code of the calculator and also the text. vekia
cd2500 looks fine, but i suppose that i can decrypt it, am I right?
guest*
You not. Only if you have the respective file for decryption. After encryption you don't need to upload the decrypt file to the server. It remains secure on your own local folder. There is no way to hack this. I tried by myself, because I accidentally deleted the whole folder.
