Tranfer Domain Help required

Hi, ok for a while now i have been configuring prestashop on a temp server, now i want it to go live so i tried transferring the site, now i cannot upload any images at all. i try to add a new product and it gives me a giant ? sign, same if i try to add a new image to an existing image.
Below is a step by step list of what i did:

1. Copied all files and folders from temp server to my local machine,
2. Copied all files and folders from local machine to new server,
3. exported database and imported it to new location
4. changed the settings.inc.php file to reflect change in position and new database details.

So what am i missing?
This is for the company where i work and they are really starting to breath down my necks about it so any help would be vastly appreciated.
