Install problem (1.3.3): Database server was not found. Please verify the login, password, and database server name fields.

Hi,

I am trying to install Prestashop 1.3.3 for the first time.

I am at step 3 and try to verify database, but I get this error:

"Database server was not found. Please verify the login, password, and database server name fields."

I have a MySQL Workbench connected to the database server and the database exists on the database server. I have no problem with the connection to the database from MySQL Workbench and I can work with the database from there.

I have runned phpinfo and are using PHP Version 5.1.6

I fill in the following:

Database server name: xx.yyy.21.32 (ip address)

Database name: xxxxxxxxxxx_xx

Login: yyyyyy

Password: ********


The port to use is 3306, but I cannot select it anywhere.

I really need some help with this, because I am stuck here. I cannot get any futher.
