Newsletter confimation mail on new customer

Hello Everybody,

I'm facing this problem when a new customer complete his registration.

When a customer completes the registration form and selects the option [x] "Subscribe to our newsletter" He receive correctly the confirmation mail of "new customer registration" but he doesn't receive the "newsletter subscription mail message" with a discount code for the subscribers to the newsletter.

the confirmation mail with the discount code arrives  correctly when you subscribe to the newsletter directly inserting your mail in the form provided by the newsletter block.

Would you like to help me how to solve this problem please?
