[SOLVED] Product not showing on category page.

Still need help with this guys. Please someone. I turned the friendly url on, re genrated my htacess and then redid the thumbnail. Now i get the image with a question mark. What am i doing wrong. Can someone atleast link me to another thread.

You have custom image size "home_small" did you regenerated those images as well ?

And do you have that sizet in Back Office >> Preferences >> Image list.

I changed the size of the images in the back office as per instructions given with the template i puchased from template monster. It just seems the images aren't being generated in the p folder.

Can you choose home_small when regenerating images ?
First choose select Products and then home_small from Select format drop-down.

Also check if when you click on edit icon next to home_small is Products checked.

okay i am not sure if i am regenerating this image properly.

I go to bo - catalogue - images - add image - thumbnail resize method manual - select home_small and save.

Is that how i do this?

Also to mention when i installed prestashop the home_small wasnt in the preferences - image . I had to add it in manually.

Also using firebug i just realised the the product is asking for



but there is no 13-71-home_small.jpg it just isn't being generated. The rest of the images are but not this one.

so now i know hoe to regenerate images. But i can't select the home_small image. I have attached a screenshot.

Ok so its working now. Well sort of. I modified the home_small. I forgot to click this type of image applies to "categories" and "products". So now i can c the image but a very bad one. Screenshot is attached.

Are you adding transparent png image ?
If you are Prestashop will change it to jpg so it may look bad like on your screen-shot.
Or it just didn't regenerate ok.

Thanks a lot for all the help, I was having the same problem. But the category image, I tried to change it in the back panel, even tho I'm uploading png images it says Image format not recognized, allowed formats are: .gif, .jpg, .png
