Create new parent category?

I searched for this but didn't see it. Surely simple, but I can't seem to create a new top-level or parent category in addition to "Home" - is it possible?

update: I think I figured this out...

You can not create a category on the same level as "Home" - correct?
However, you can create sub-categories that can become "parent" categories - correct?

Then you can simply choose not to display "Home" with the drop-down via the Horizontal Menu Module by Julian - correct?

Are there other ways to accomplish this? Is there a way to create a top-level category in addition to "Home"?

That's right. You can't create categories on the same level as the "Home" category. You should create subcategories of "Home", then select the subcategories on the menu configuration page.

Create them as subcategories as "Home". You can use CSS to make the category block look like two category blocks if that is what you need to do.
