Impossible to add the product to the cart textStatus: 'parserror'

We currently have the following error when trying to add any product to the cart..  Thanks in advance for your advise.

PrestaShop 1.6.1.4, Default Theme

History: We had a corrupt SQL DB. We have restored a SQL backup today. We were getting the error below before the DB restore. We expected the DB restore would also fix this, but it did not.

We have not made any changes to our PrestaShop settings, no new modules were installed, that we can roll back. We are unsure what started this error if not the DB.

We have tried disabling all non-PrestaShop modules (debug mode), problem persists.
